Manuary

January is already a few days in. My roommates and I have decided to celebrate the beloved first month by celebrating Manuary. Manuary is sacred month-long holiday which celebrates manliness in its many forms.  During the entire month, we shall do several things to observe the holiday such as:

• Grow Beards
• Take a shot of liquor every night before bed
• Mario Monday- Every Monday night, everyone shall play Super Mario Bros. on the Wii
• Wip ‘em out Wednesday (or Weiner Wednesday)- Must freeball on a Wednesday
• Fat Back Fridays- Every meal on a Friday must include bacon in some form
• Flannel Saturday- You get the picture

There are other things which happen during Manuary as well, such as the observance of manly movies, suit night, and the smoking of cigars, but I shall not bore you with the details. At the end of Manuary, the men shave their beards so they can don their sweet ‘staches and hold a 70s party. Be sure that I will update as the month progresses.

Ed. I also want to note that those who know me personally may notice many of the items on the list are things which I already do regularly i.e. drink, grow a beard, eat gratuitous amounts of bacon; but I think this just goes to show how manly I already am.
